India needs the Used Bibles and Christian books that
are collecting dust on your shelves.

Your Church Can help...

  • Choose a month to have a Used Bible and Christian Book drive at your church.
  • Promote the drive through pulpit announcements in the weeks leading up to the chosen month.
  • Place an annoucement similar to the following in your bulletin and/or newsletter:

    India Needs Your Used Bibles and Christian Books! Help spread the Gospel; proceeds will be used to publish Bibles in Indian languages, fund literacy courses, & train church-planters. Please bring your used Bibles (esp. Study & Children's Bibles), Commentaries, and Christian books in boxes to the 'Used Bible & Books' table on the patio beginning Sunday, Month Day. We also need boxes, storage space, & volunteers.

  • There is a tremendous need for Commentaries and Study Bibles. Hymnals are also needed.
  • Does your church library need to be purged of unused Christian books?
  • Can your church serve as a local drop-point for other churches in your area?
  • Does your church have storage space that can be used as a regional storage center while you inspire other churches in your area to get involved?
  • Can your church ship or deliver the collected Bibles and Books to a coordinator in California or Pennsylvania?
  • Contact a coordinator to help plan your drive and delivery of Bibles and books.
